Incessant rain all day long. Torrents. Rose at 9½ ― penned out till prayer time. No letters. Breakfast. Penned out, & talked with Mrs. H. about publishing Mr. H.’s memoirs. At 12 shewed drawings to all the servants ―: Mrs. Edward Hornby came: ――― Lunch. ― After[wards] playing & singing ― drawing, talking &c. &c. Dinner. And ditto.
Kind good people. ―
