Thick fog ―: & after 10 pouring rain till 5.
G. & I breakfasted together: (figs & ham.) Talk of R. & Flo ― & other things. She is a dear good true little girl, ― almost faultless, ― but I found, from want of exercise, her health is not so good ―& her sight is certainly failing. I did not go to church, but wrote & drew. ― At Lunch, Lady B. ― & afterwards I went to Slingsby’s: Photographs &c. &c. Then, the afternoon, & endless chatter about this Bazaar. Poor G. writes & writes, & if she stops, they say she is lazy. At 5, S. & I walked out ― for an hour. ― Dinner: the S.’s: afterwards ― this wearing bazaar.
