Violent headache & indigestion ― oh! Bother! ―

Rose at 7 ― & painted hard till 2. Mr. Dennett called. At 3 & 4 ― packed, ― but could not get off ― tho’ I have done so much work, I might do so. At 5.30 came to Brighton, & by 7.15 to Lewes where Bern had dined. Evening with him. Lonely day.
