Rose at 6½. ― Windy & dull morning. ― A very windy & rainy day. Worked more or less ― but discontentedly & not well. Lunch with Reynolds & H.H. At 5.30 walked to Seymour St. ― & then to J.H.B.’s ― to give them their Palestine objects, & to see their children. J.H.B. walked a good way with me. I, wet through by sudden rain before I reached Tor Villa. ― Dinner ― penning out, & bed. ― Letters from F.L. & P.T.
