One thing is a fact ― living with Daddy Hunt is more a certain chance of happiness than any other life I know of ― yet we see but little of each other ― except at breakfast time ― or very late at night. But for all that, his mind ― active & truthful pervades the house. So I worked all day at Jerusalem Sunset (―― day) till nearly 5 ― a light beautiful day. Then I walked to Seymour St.: notes from J.B. Harford: Mrs. J.B.H. ― confirmed ― 5th daughter: & “J. Murray.” Went on to the Beadons ― “going out to dine:” ― then to Murray‘s, & purchased the “Syrian” & on to J.B.H.’s ―: “out to dine” !!!! ― So ― cab to Seymour St. ― where I dined on cold mutton & a whole bottle of Sherry. And then, walked back in bright moonlight to Tor Villa: notes from Ann, & Mrs. Beadon. ― Read papers ― & tea.
