Warm cloudy day. ― Not very well. ― Boles upset.
Church, ― going at 10 & wearied of waiting. Woodward’s sermon on the Pharisees’ religion. ― Walked home. ―
Returned to Dr. Chambers’s, & with him, drove to T. di Schiavi. Then walked nearly by Alexdne Aqueduct & round again to Tor di Schiavi.
Wonderfully lovely bits of Campagna!
Great hurry to reach home by ½ past 6. Hurry to dress, & to Storeys by 7. ― Very pleasant party ― Dr. & Mrs. Henry, & a Mr. Clark ―. Good & agreeable dinner & evening. ―
