8 prs socks ― 1. sketching stool.
4. case ― 2 pictures
5. Knapsack, couches, 2 diaries ( 1855-1858. &c. &c.
6. Boxes of paintbrushes.
7. a cloak
8. a capote.

This done, by 12 came “Masters” ― of Jerusalem & Annesley celebrity, arrived lately ― & also married. How odd that 4 persons last year in Palestine together should all meet here. ― At 1 I went to Macbeans. There is not much news ― but everything is more  complicated. ―― Thence, to Drummond’s ― to lunch, or, more properly ― to make Mrs. D.’s acquaintance ― & a very duck-like angel she is: really a sweeter & more intelligent woman ― & so young ― one has hardly seen. ― [Πανθαλίων] came in ― & [annoy], [πεταξῦ αλλων], ― shewed [gr.]. ― After this I came home, & packed little things till 5½  ― when Macbean’s men came for the roba, & Gio. went with them. At 6 ― went to P. Williams, & walked to P. Salara & back: & then dined with him at the Belli Arti ― ― ― ― not unpleasantly. Paid several bills today . Debate [τιὰ ἐγιὲ] ― if I should go by Liverpool steamer or not. ― From P.W. I hear that the P. of W. gave 2 commissions to Benouville, ― & 1 to Miss Hosmer!!!!!!!!!!! vide Percy & Gibson.
