Same weather. At 6 to Barham’s ― & Clover Vale Farm ― all let. But it is a pleasure to see these scenes again.
Breakfast ― & then to Warrior Sqr. ―where the brutes won’t let the rooms for other than a “permanence.” Came away in a gt. rage ― & to the Station. But, τέλος ω άντυν, saw some small rooms which will do very well in a way & took them from the 16th ― £2/2/0 a week.
Came to Lewes before 2. ― Afternoon went in hanging the 2 pictures ― Jerusalem & Bethelehem, which at length find a home ― & look very well.
