Worked but little all day ― only finished the Dead Sea.

Thence to 7.30 I worked ― arranging the books &c.

Good dinner &c.: & both my neighbours very pleasant.
Evening ― various folk. P. Bouverie & Mrs. P.B. Miss Bromley. Mrs. Ford. ― & others.
I came away at 12.
