No one came. So at 3.30 I went across the Park, & to Brompton, & called on the “Jones’s” ―― & there was
Jessie is wonderfully like her father & my Aunt & Father, but good-looking & very lively & nice: indeed rather charming.
Walked back ― & dined on cold beef alone. ―
