Wet early. A glorious old place is Levens. Breakfast very pleasant. Mrs. N.L. is a delightful woman. Afterwards talk ― of B. &c. &c. ― & so on ― till singing ― & so on to Lunch at 1 ― I am very glad to have seen dear good Mrs. H. again. Weather clearing. Mr. Weston & I in a Section=omnibus. Uncomfortable. (Lady with bonnet.) Oxenholme, ― & ticket to Preston. [Hurry], & ticket to Liverpool. New long Bridge & Miss Hornbys. ― Rainlike & fly by Prescot to Windham’s by 5½. Gardens: walk with W. ― Mrs. W. ― daughters & little dog. ―
