XXX6 Alas! What miserable week!
Weather changed!! ― Milder & some rain.
Very unwell early. At 10 went to Macbeans, & drew out 25 scudi: & then ordered bedsheets for G. Returned & worked at Gethsemane. In the morning no one came but Major Peacock, & later, one Reilly ― bringing a letter from William Langton. ― At 4 I called on J. Uwins, & on the Woodwards, & later on the Northeys, who go tomorrow, which I regret. ― Came home at 6½ ― & dined at home for the first time. Wrote afterwards to Lady Reid.
