Extremely unwell. Sick. Violent cough. ― Weather fine, warm.
Persisted in drawing at 2 Bethany views. ―
S.W.C. came in twice, & at 2½ , Gibbs, ˆ[with] whoˆ[m] walked with me to Diocletian’s baths, Minerva Medica, & to Maronite Monastery ― But I was very unwell always. Dressed, & went to Macbean’s. Clark only there. Col. & Mrs. Gordon are the parents of that Major G. who married Miss Bolton, a Doctor O’Brien came in late, & then Webb: ― she hath too many dinings for me. ― I got thro’ the evening somehow.
