Slept well. Rose late. Worked at the Philates. Came 7 letters. Mild gray dry.

- S.W. Clowes ― saying nothing
- W. Nevill ――― very very sad.
- Mrs. Hornby ― pleasant & good.
- Holt ― note about Jaffa boats
- Walter ― paing [sic] his money for the Picture.
― Visto tutto,1 I resolve to stay till the 14th.
At 5 walked the middle giro.2 Dined alone. ―
