Worked all the morning ― beginning the 3 Parnassi, & the 2 Palermi. ―

Cheales called. ―

At 3 I went out, intending to make calls: ― but going to P. Williams, ― went to walk with him.

Day very beautiful.

Returning, ― Newton came upstairs with me.

Found nice letter from C. Church. ― & one to a G. Lear, wh. I had to send to the Hotel.

Dined at home, & had a Converse with Giorgio. ―
