Very fine early ― but at 1 it is vett. ―
Letters from Foord ― pictures arrived safely. ―
―― Ellen ― who comes to Hastings next week.
& W. Nevill ― has tried M.A.C. ― & as I thought certain ― has failed.
Worked at large Corfû.
At 5 walked to Hastings, called on Mrs. G. Scrivens. (Nasty little dog of theirs.)
Walked back by 7. It is dark now at 6½.
Dinner, & reading & piano ― & writing.
