Ah bah! ―
Rose before 8. Gibbs breakfasted with me, & by an effort I became tolerably alert. ―
Letters from Fairbairn & M. [Parkyns].
F. Gibbs.
W. Rosetti.
Maddox Brown.
J. Uwins ― (but it was too late.)
Thick fog.
At 11 ― took the 3 pictures to Mrs. Beadon. ―
Then they went off.
Worked a little, but too uncertainly, at the large Petra. Then (― 2 ―) walked to Drummonds, & found Mr. Edwards’ bill was not signed so got nothing by it.
Thick & horrible fog.
At 4 Dickenson came & put the Petra in its frame. ―
Tea alone at 6. ― F.L. has never been all the day here ― but that once! ―
