Sent letters to E. Drummond, Spiro K., & Dickenson
XX6 Grief! ―
Nevertheless, I worked at Sandbach’s Palermo a good part of the day. Cheales & Lord Rendlesham came in. No one else all day.
At 3½ called on Williams, & on Miss Tullok ˇ[45 Capo le Case]: ― (out) & then with P.W. walked by the Tiber. How young & lively he is for 57! ― (saw Gallier on the Pincian.) Returned to dine alone.
Wrote to Stansfeld, advising him to draw 2 small pictures, &, then, penned out Baalbek till 10.
