Took a fit of “packing” ― & packed all the “books” ― had all the Carpets beaten for packing!

For verily, things are “hugly.”

Painted little, & drew almost as little.

At 3½ went to P. W. to walk ― but as it rained hard we sate & talked. Dined alone. ―

Lord Rendlesham & Cheales came to Coffee.

Penned out Baalbek till 10. ―
